EPDM can resistance to heat, light, oxygen and, in particular, ozone. EPDM is essentially non-polar, resistant to polar solutions and chemicals, low water absorption and excellent insulation properties.

 The EPDM rubber is made of ethylene and propylene, which is white or yellowish solid at normal temperature and is easy to mix, and its relative density is 0.85-0.86. The physical, chemical, and processability of EPDM rubber vary primarily with the molecular structure of the polymer, which is determined by such factors as Mooney viscosity and oil content. EPDM rubber has good aging resistance, chemical resistance, low temperature resistance and dielectric properties.
